The record-breaking, live-action 2017 version of Wonder Woman had critics and fans alike dubbing it one of the best superhero films of all time. With a sequel set for next year, there’s one question on everyone’s mind: Will Lynda Carter, who originally portrayed the iconic DC hero on the Wonder Woman TV series in the ‘70s before Gal Gadot took on the role, make an appearance Wonder Woman 2?

The decision will come down to director Patty Jenkin’s, but luckily for fans, she and Carter have become fast friends. In fact, they even share the same birthday!

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly Radio (Ch. 105)’s Bill Carter, Lynda Carter said she and Jenkins are “joined at the hip.”

“I would say that we had a ‘womance’ instead of a bromance,” she said, while in New York promoting her latest project Super Troopers 2.

As for the scoop on whether we can expect to see her in a cameo or larger role on the next film, Carter said she is “waiting to see.”

Adding, “If we knew right now that I was going to be in the next movie, I would not tell you.”
