Good morning! A lot happens in sports, even when you’re busy doing other non-sports-y stuff. So here are the top headlines and moments from yesterday, in case you missed anything while you were watching reruns of Archer.

#RussellMania strikes again

Alleged human, but possible mutant, Russell Westrbrook, nabbed his seventh(!!) triple-double this month with a 26, 12, 11 line in a 119-100 victory over the Toronto Raptors at Air Canada Centre. Kevin Durant is not nice and emphatically proved the statement true with 34 points of his own against the Raps. The real story is about Westbrook at this point, however. No player since Michael Jordan in 1989 has had this many triple-doubles in a month and no player since Magic Johnson has had this many triple-doubles in a season. Russ still has a chance to break MJ and Magic’s respective records, too.

Shane vs ‘Taker takes center stage during Raw

In the last Monday Night Raw before WrestleMania 32, the WWE pulled out all the stops. The show opened with a confrontation between The Undertaker and Shane McMahon. After a shaky-but-solid promo segment, the two of them engaged in a brawl outside the ring that culminated in Shane-O-Mac flying off the top turnbuckle for an elbow drop on ‘Taker through the announcers’ table. Beyond the fear I had watching a 46-year-old Shane McMahon flying through the air, I have to admit this was pretty awesome. Check it out:

UConn advances to Final Four for ninth consecutive time

Connecticut’s trio of Breanna Stewart, Morgan Tuck and Moriah Jefferson tamed the University of Texas Monday night and the Huskies have advanced to their ninth straight Final Four appearance in the Women’s NCAA Tournament. UConn has been dominant all season long, having won every game double-digit margins this year. They will be facing the Oregon State Beavers in the national semifinal on Sunday night and in the other semi, Syracuse will be squaring off with the “other” Huskies from the University of Washington.
