Good morning! A lot happens in sports, even when you’re not watching, so here are the top headlines and moments from yesterday, in case you missed anything while you were watching the State of the Union.
Going back to Cali (to Cali, to Cali)
The St. Louis Rams are extinct. The Los Angeles Rams are resurrected. 30 out of 32 NFL owners voted to approve Rams owner Stan Kroenke’s bid to move the organization to the Hollywood Park racetrack in Inglewood, which is about 10 miles from downtown L.A. and ends the NFL’s 21-year absence from the City of Angels. The Rams might not be alone, as the San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders could be on their way to Los Angeles as well.

Not everyone is happy, though. SiriusXM host and St. Louis-native Andy Cohen blasted Kroenke on his show Watch What Happens Live, dubbing Kroenke the “Jackhole of the Day.”
Tuesday saw a pair of top-five teams go down, including top-ranked Kansas losing on the road to No. 11 West Virginia. The Mountaineers used their trademark full-court pressure defense to stifle the Jayhawks while receiving huge games from Jaysean Paige (26 points) and Devin Williams (17 points, 12 rebounds). It was West Virginia’s first win over a top-ranked team since beating UNLV in 1983.
No. 3 Maryland was upset by unranked Michigan, 70-67. Terrapins star Melo Trimble was held to just two points and backcourt mate Rasheed Sulaimon missed a three-pointer in the final seconds, snapping Maryland’s nine-game win streak. Zak Irvin poured in 22 points for the Wolverines.
Throw it up, hammer it down
Our must-see moments come as a pair of alley-oops from the NBA. Andre Drummond and Giannis Antetokounmpo took to the sky for rim-rocking slams. Which one was better? You decide!

Just because we at SiriusXM love you guys so much, have a laugh at this goofy commercial from Cleveland Cavaliers center Timofey Mozgov, who now should use a bear as his sole source of transportation.
Look cool every morning. Find out what you missed in the sports world while you were sleeping, and impress your friends and co-workers. We won’t tell them you were actually crying under your bed about the Rams leaving St. Louis.
