Good morning! A lot happens in sports, even when you’re busy doing other non-sports-y stuff. So here are the top headlines and moments from yesterday, in case you missed anything while you were watching Bar Rescue.
The #FinalFour is set
March Madness is living up to its name as the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament was pure insanity, headlined by No. 10 Syracuse upsetting No. 1 Virginia, 68-62, to reach the Final Four. The Orange faced a 15-point deficit in the second half but used a stifling full-court pressure defense to end the game on a 29-8 run. Freshman Malachi Richardson scored 21 of his 23 points in the second half to lead the charge. ‘Cuse is just the fourth double-digit seed to reach the Final Four.

No. 1 North Carolina staved off a second-half run by No. 6 Notre Dame to win 88-74 and advance. Each starter scored in double-figures for the Tar Heels, led by Brice Johnson’s 25 points and 12 rebounds. North Carolina is the lone one-seed to reach the Final Four. The Tar Heels may have gotten the win, but the Fighting Irish had the best highlight and our must-see moment with this poster-dunk by V.J. Beachem and subsequent reaction by Zach Auguste:
