The second season of Netflix’s critically-acclaimed series, The Crown, is now streaming worldwide with the third season already in the works. While it’s a period drama about the life and reign of Queen Elizabeth II, it chronicles the lives of a group of people who are still very much alive.

With the recent announcement of Prince Harry’s engagement to American actress Meghan Markle, it seems that the Royal Family is all anyone is talking about, including the cast of The Crown.

During a recent visit to SiriusXM’s New York City studios, actors Claire Foy and Matt Smith gave Entertainment Weekly Radio’s Jessica Shaw their thoughts on the latest royal engagement. While Foy and Smith are just actors who play Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh respectively, their experience has given them a much more personal knowledge of what life is like behind the walls of Buckingham Palace. Watch below.
