‘Call Me By Your Name,’ the newest film from Luca Guadagnino, starring Armie Hammer and Timothée Chalamet, has been causing quite a bit of controversy.

The newest film from Luca Guadagnino, ‘Call Me By Your Name,’ starring Armie Hammer and Timothée Chalamet, has been causing quite a bit of controversy in some circles. The film portrays Hammer as a 24 year-old-college student who is pursued by (and eventually falls for) a 17-year-old boy, played by Chalamet.

While the film has received rave reviews from critics, and even some Oscar buzz, one person in particular is surprisingly not excited to see the film. During an interview with SiriusXM host Andy Cohen, Hammer said his mom has expressed to him that she won’t be supporting this film due to her “very conservative” views. Watch below:
