Before its scheduled release, SiriusXM subscribers can watch a live, invitation-only performance of Bon Jovi’s new album, ‘2020.’ Fans can also hear the special on Bon Jovi Radio from November 28 through December 2.
In celebration of Bon Jovi’s critically acclaimed new album, 2020, and the band’s performance recording in Nashville, SiriusXM is hosting an exclusive invitation-only preview screening of On A Night Like This – Bon Jovi 2020 for SiriusXM subscribers as of November 24, days ahead of the special’s scheduled release. Watch the screening below now!
Additionally, SiriusXM listeners will be able to hear the concert special on Bon Jovi Radio beginning on November 28 through December 2 (scroll for the full broadcast schedule) or watch it when it premieres to the general public on November 27 on SiriusXM’s YouTube channel.
As the release of the new album was postponed, it became obvious to Jon Bon Jovi that the band wasn’t going to be touring live. With a topical album addressing racial injustice and the Covid-19 pandemic, he knew it was the type of album that needed to be played in its entirety. The special was filmed as they gathered in Nashville to perform 2020 live for the first time together.
In advance of the special, Jon Bon Jovi recalled his love affair with Nashville, where he and the band recorded full albums, and some of the biggest hits over the past 25 years.
“There is such an energy in the place that moves me,” he said during an interview with Alan Hunter about the recording of 2020.
Still in the shadow of a challenging time for the world, the footage captures the spirit of live music and its ability to bring people together.
