Before 2021 fades to black, look back at your top Metallica songs for the special Mandatory Metallica end-of-year countdown in celebration of the band’s 40th anniversary. On the weekend of December 17, tune in to hear the top 40 fan-voted favorites counted down on air. Mandatory Metallica Liquid Metal Takeover

December 17 at 3am through December 20 at 3am

SiriusXM is proud to celebrate 40 Years Of Metallica with a three-day takeover of Liquid Metal (Ch. 40), featuring a Top 40 countdown voted on by fans, specialty shows hosted by members of the band, seven select ‘Tallica concerts spanning four decades, a live call-in roundtable following Metallica’s 40th anniversary shows in San Francisco, and so much more!

A two-hour, live call-in show featuring fans and special guests chatting about 40 Years of Metallica with our resident ‘Tallica experts Steffan Chirazi and Spider Dan, moderated by SiriusXM host Jose “Metal Ambassador” Mangin. The show will be simulcast on both Liquid Metal and Mandatory Metallica SiriusXM channels.
