VA Gov. McAuliffe: ‘I have zero tolerance for people who don’t vote’

Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe has some strong words for Americans who choose to stay home on election day.

“I have zero tolerance for people who don’t vote,” McAuliffe told Tim Farley Monday. “I’ll tell you this, if you don’t vote, guess what? You don’t get to complain.”

He added as the father of a United States Marine, he feels an extra sense of Democratic duty to respect those “wearing the cloth of this country, fighting for our basic freedoms and liberties.”

He continued saying, “[If] you can’t give us 30 minutes to go vote to send a message to the world that we’re the greatest democracy, shame on you.”

The Morning Briefing with Tim Farley airs weekdays at 6 am ET on SiriusXM P.O.T.U.S. (Ch. 124)
