Get to know the biggest names in dance music

We’re heating things up down in Miami all week at the SiriusXM Music Lounge before spending the weekend at Ultra Music Festival. Get to know some of the festival’s biggest names right here before you see them hit the festival stages.

Thomas Jack

Thomas Jack is an Australian DJ/producer and the father of “tropical house.” His laid-back dance tracks give a summery vibe and utilize live instruments like saxophone, flute, piano and guitar.


Kygo blends sounds that are brighter, more relaxed and slowed-down for his tropical brand of electronica, dubbed tropical house. The Sony/RCA artist was initially inspired by Avicii.

Robin Schulz

German house-music producer Robin Schulz is known for his melodic, bouncy pop-house style. His latest single, Sugar, is now a club staple.

Felix Jaehn

Felix Jaehn is known for his pop-oriented deep house remixes. The German import has made waves all over Europe with his cover of Rufus & Chaka Khan’s Ain’t Nobody.

Armin van Buuren

A veteran of the EDM scene, Armin van Buuren is still going strong and released his sixth studio album, Embrace, in October.

Martin Garrix

Martin Garrix burst onto the scene in 2012 at 16 years old. The Dutch DJ has seen success in multiple countries and has collaborated with artists like Afrojack and Ed Sheeran.


Active since 1994 and the recipient of six Grammy nominations, deadmau5 is one of the forefathers of progressive house music and has produced a variety of styles within the house genre.


Hardwell started DJing at the age of 13 and was twice voted the world’s number-one DJ (in 2013 and 2014) by DJ Magazine. His live sets at music festivals are legendary.


Afrojack is known worldwide for his catchy, smash-hit electro house singles, blending progressive house and EDM.


Kaskade is another veteran of the EDM scene, who headlined Ultra Music Festival in 2012. The Chicago-born DJ is known for his use of vocal features and soulful production.
