After firing an even-par 71 in the second round of The Open Championship — no small feat this year at Muirfield — Tiger Woods, in search of his 15th major championship, enters the weekend one stroke back of Miguel Jimenez (minus-3).

Woods is tied with Henrik Stenson, Lee Westwood and fellow American Dustin Johnson through two rounds at minus-2. Just four other players made it through Thursday and Friday under par: Angel Cabrera, Zach Johnson, Rafael Cabrera Bello and Martin Laird, all two shots back of Jimenez at one-under.

Phil Mickelson, Bubba Watson and Adam Scott are among other notables in contention. All three former major winners are plus-1.
