#TBT to when Taylor Swift first visited the SiriusXM Studios in ’08

In honor of our fave pop singer Taylor Swift dropping her latest album 1989 today, we’re going back to 2008 when the then soft-spoken pop newbie first visited SiriusXM Studios. Swift stopped by The Morning Mash Up to discuss all things from mean school girls, to celebrity crushes.

“I mean I have a lot of crushes. Morgan has always been my number one! Because … He’s such a great character and I cry every time I see him on TV and he’s just my number one.”

During the interview, we also learned that nice girl’s can finish first, as Swift recollects when she first saw some girls standing in line for her, realizing that they were bullies from school.

“My album had just come out, and I started to headline shows and tours and stuff … And they booked a show in my home town, and I was like ‘uggghhhhhh!’ But I wasn’t cool in school or anything, I didn’t have any friends … Well I did for a while, but then they didn’t want to be friends with me anymore. So …”

You can catch Taylor Swift visiting The Morning Mash Up for a live Q&A this Wednesday 10/29 at 2 pm ET on SiriusXM Hits 1!
