This Saturday night, April 25th, heavyweight boxing reigns supreme at The World’s Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden.

Wladimir “Dr. Steelhammer” Klitschko (63-3, 54 KOs) is set to defend his IBF/WBA/WBO/IBO Heavyweight championship belts versus undefeated, top ranked American contender, Bryant “By-By” Jennings (19-0, 10 KOs).

This will be the 39-year-old champ’s first fight in the Unites States since February 2008 at the Garden, when he unified the titles. It will be the 27th championship match for the 6-foot-6 boxer hailing from Kiev, Ukraine. The 30-year-old challenger from Philadelphia stands 6-foot-3 and possesses a three-inch length advantage.

On Wednesday, both fighters held open workouts for the media at Terminal 23, Carmelo Anthony’s private gym, in New York City.

“Dr. Steelhammer” put on an impressive display of sparring for the crowd, featuring timed rounds with his training staff. The champion saw his opponent walk by early on and said, “I’m about to practice, you should stay and watch.”

Earlier in the day, “By-By” participated in some light sparring and proclaimed to the media, “I’m the first guy not afraid of Wlad. I’m from North Philly.” He went on to predict a victory and boasted, “I’ll become the first vegan heavyweight champ!”

On the undercard is a 10-round Welterweight fight between Sadam Ali (21-0, 13 KOs) from Brooklyn, N.Y. and Francisco Santana (22-3-1, 11 KOs) from Santa Barbara, Calif.

Both fights air on HBO this Saturday starting at 10 pm ET, and SiriusXM will host a Post Fight Live show on Sports Zone, channel 92, at the conclusion of the card.
