During a chat with Entertainment Weekly Radio at Comic-Con, Roden admitted she didn’t understand what viewers “shipping” her character meant until she came to the nerd-tastic convention.
“These fan ships are a thing now, and I remember first coming to Comic-Con, I didn’t know what a ship was. A relationship,” she said. “I think it was realized in one of these on-camera interviews at Comic-Con, where I was learning colloquial fan-fiction terms. So now I can use my new terminology from the Comic-Con School of Stydia, and yeah, stay tuned.”
“I can tell you the new episodes will answer the question definitively of Stydia,” exective producer Jeff Davis teased.
