Nick Foles knows better than most how quickly life can change. From almost quitting the NFL, to playing backup quarterback for the Eagles, to leading Philadelphia to its first-ever world championship, the Super Bowl LII MVP has had a rollercoaster couple of years. Now, fresh off the best football he’s ever played, Foles told SiriusXM NFL Radio (Ch. 88) that he’s ready to resume his role as Carson Wentz’s backup in Philly.

“I’m trying to just really live in the moment, be grateful for those human things, those things inside of us, that pride starts seeping in,” Foles told Jim Miller Tuesday in the SiriusXM Studios.

Promoting his new book, Believe It: My Journey of Success, Failure, and Overcoming the Odds, Foles also touched on how faith has guided him in his career, starting in college.
