SiriusXM is remembering Pop Smoke, who died on Wednesday, February 19, at 20 years old. The Brooklyn-born artist — who rose to fame in 2019 as a promising rapper and songwriter with hits like “Welcome to the Party” and “Dior” — was fatally shot during a reported invasion of his Hollywood Hills home.
To pay tribute to the late rapper, Hip-Hop Nation (Ch. 44) has been playing his music, airing interviews, and even hosted a live call-in show for fans to express their condolences. In addition, revisit Pop Smoke’s interviews from earlier this month (fresh on the heels of his newest mixtape, Meet the Woo 2) with SiriusXM hosts On Demand below.Hear Pop Smoke officially embrace his rapper status with Swaggy Sie and talk creative process just last week.
