The NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs moved to Kansas Speedway on Sunday. Here’s a look at the Power Rankings after the Hollywood Casino 400:

1. Denny Hamlin

The driver came up one position short of winning while the team co-owner watch his car win the race with Bubba Wallace. Hamlin had some challenges on pit road that again forced him to play catch-up but he was able to persevere and finish second as he looks to advance to the next round of the Playoffs next week at Bristol.

Playoff Grid: 3rd
Last Week: 1st

2. Christopher Bell

The only driver of the 16 in the first round of the Playoffs to advance to round two. Bell did that with a strong Kansas outing that included 12 laps in the lead and a third-place finish when the checkered flag flew.

Playoff Grid: 1st
Last Week: 5th

3. Joey Logano

It was a better start than finish for Logano in Kansas, who qualified second and started outside the front row. That view didn’t last for very long as he slipped back in the running order ending up 17th in the Hollywood Casino 400.

Playoff Grid: 4th
Last Week: 3rd

4. Chase Elliott

It’s not been the greatest of starts to the Playoffs for the regular season champion. Elliott did get toward the front some on Sunday after starting 25th at Kansas, but he ultimately faded back as the race wore onfinishing just outside the top-10 in eleventh.

Playoff Grid: 7th
Last Week: 2nd

5. Ross Chastain

Back near the front of the field for Chastain who is looking to regain some of the mojo he displayed earlier in the 2022 season. His seventh-place Kansas Speedway run kept him secure in the Playoff standings as he tries to advance to the next round.

Playoff Grid: 9th
Last Week: 8th

6. Kyle Larson

Kind of a nondescript day for Larson. It was terrible but it wasn’t great either as the defending series champion could only muster an eighth-place finish at Kansas Speedway and did not lead a lap all afternoon.

Playoff Grid: 8th
Last Week: 7th

7. William Byron

These have been better days for Byron and the No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet than they were down the stretch of the regular season. Byron paced the field for nine laps and left Kansas with a sixth-place finish.

Playoff Grid: 2nd
Last Week: 10th

8. Tyler Reddick

The weekend started off great for Reddick as he went out and earned the pole in Saturday’s qualifying session. The race was another story as a tire went down on the No. 8 RCR Chevrolet and after hitting the wall Reddick was out of the race on just lap 67.

Playoff Grid: 11th
Last Week: 4th

9. Ryan Blaney

Slow and steady has been the calling card for Blaney in the opening two Playoff races. The Team Penske driver displayed that approach in Kansas bringing home a ninth-place performance in the Hollywood Casino 400.

Playoff Grid: 5th
Last Week: NR

10. Daniel Suarez

A nice rebound from the Darlington frustration of a week ago for Suarez. The Trackhouse Racing driver led for eight laps on Sunday and was able to help solidify his Playoff position a bit with a top-10 finish in Kansas.

Playoff Grid: 10th
Last Week: NR

Dropped Out: Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch
