It took an extra day because of Mother Nature but NASCAR completed its trip to Dover Motor Speedway. Here’s a look at the Power Rankings after the Drydene 400:

1. Chase Elliott

The drought is over for Elliott who won for the first time in 26 races and scored his first oval track win since the Phoenix finale in 2020. Elliott led three times for 73 laps and put together a perfect day to score career Cup win number 14 Monday after at Dover.

2. Ross Chastain

A weekly fixture near the front of the field and Chastain kept that streak alive at Dover. His third place run was the Trackhouse Racing driver’s seventh top-five finish of 2022 the most of any drivers in the NASCAR Cup Series.

3. Kyle Busch

No birthday celebration for Busch this year in Victory Lane as he was able to do last year at Kansas Speedway. Busch led the most laps in the race with 103 at the front of the field but could finish no better than seventh at Dover.

Last Week: 3rd

4. Alex Bowman

The Hendrick driver kept his usually strong Dover performances going Sunday with a fifth place finish. Bowman has now finished top-five in five fo the last six races at the “Monster Mile.”

5. Kyle Larson

A nice recovery for Larson who had one the strongest cars in the field early in the race. But the Hendrick Motorsports driver spun out and was forced to battle back, which he did for an impressive sixth-place finish.

Point Standings: 8th
Last Week: 6th

6. William Byron

He was forced to a backup car after a an accident in practice and started from the rear of the field. But after a pit call for track position made up several spots, Byron faded back as the race wore on and was mired back in the field with a 22nd place Dover afternoon.

Point Standings: 3rd
Last Week: 4th

7. Ryan Blaney

Troubles for Blaney continue to plague the Team Penske driver as they did the entire organization at Dover. A 26th-place performance for Blaney on Monday as he battled accelerated tire wear throughout the day.

Point Standings: 2nd
Last Week: 7th

8. Martin Truex Jr.

The 19 car was in front for a handful of laps (five to be exact) but the story of Truex Jr.’s day was his frustration racing with others specifically Ross Chastain and the duo had a conversation about just that after the race. MTJ finished 12th in Dover.

Point Standings: 7th
Last Week: 8th

9. Chase Briscoe

A steady day for Briscoe after his disastrous Talladega race the week before. Nothing spectacular for the Stewart-Haas Racing driver as he posted a 13th place Dover finish.

Point Standings: 13th
Last Week: 10th

10. Christopher Bell

Made a nice rebound when Bell was forced to pit road for a loose wheel early in Sunday’s race. But the Joe Gibbs Racing driver worked his way back to the front and finished fourth at Dover, his second top-five of the season and first finish better than 15th in four career starts at the track
