SiriusXM is sad to report that baseball legend Henry Louis “Hank” Aaron has passed away at age 86.

In honor of the Hall of Famer, MLB Network Radio (Ch. 89 on XM/Ch. 209 on Sirius) will be airing a special episode of We Were There chronicling Aaron’s road to becoming the former home run king, featuring Tom House, Darrell Evans, and Al Downing. Hear the special live on MLB Network Radio today at 1pm ET or stream it on the SiriusXM app anytime.

At 10pm ET tonight, the channel will also air the classic game in which Aaron clubbed his record-breaking 715th home run.

Born in 1934 in Mobile, Alabama, Hank Aaron played right field and DH for 21 seasons for the then-Milwaukee Braves and two for the Milwaukee Brewers. A three-time Gold Glove winner, he continues to hold the league record for RBIs, extra base hits, and total bases. In 1974, he hit his 715th career home run, breaking Babe Ruth’s record. Hank was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982 and served as SVP and assistant to the Braves’ president from 1980 on.
