The long awaited first presidential debate is right around the corner. Contenders Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump face off on Monday, September 26 at Hofstra University and SiriusXM will be there to bring you blow-by-blow coverage (plus some comedy relief).
Before the team heads out to Long Island, some of our hosts weighed in on what they would ask the candidates if they moderated the debate:
Four SiriusXM hosts will broadcast from Spin Alley, plus update live coverage on Facebook Live, Snapchat and Twitter. POTUS (Ch. 124) White House Correspondent Jared Rizzi will set the scene from the ground during the channel’s ongoing coverage while Julie Mason and Tim Farley anchor from D.C. Nomiki Konst is live for Progress (Ch. 127) with reaction from the Spin Room, while Ari Rabin-Havt works the space, speaking with campaign surrogates about the events of the evening and the state of the race. David Webb will round out the group on Patriot (Ch. 125), providing in-depth analysis and interviews at Hofstra.
Across campus at HofUSA, Insight (Ch. 121) is providing some much-needed comedic relief at “A Correspondent’s Dinner Viewing Party.” Start the evening at 8 p.m. ET with hosts/comedians Pete Dominick, Dean Obeidallah and John Fugelsang, plus a party of college students. Tune in again after the debate to relive the highlights and lowlights.
