The calendar is turning to February and Purdue continues to roll. Here’s this week’s edition of the “Power Rankings:”

1. PURDUE @BoilerBall

A pair of wins over Michigan on the road and at home versus Michigan State has the Boilermakers at 21-1 entering the new week.

2. INDIANA @IndianaMBB

Things going in a much better direction in Bloomington for the Hoosiers who knocked off Minnesota and Ohio State last week.

3. ILLINOIS @IlliniMBB

Not always pretty but the Fighting Illini have been effective and Illinois put up a pair of wins last week versus Ohio State and Wisconsin.

4. RUTGERS @RutgersMBB

The Scarlett Knights are just 3-3 over their last six games splitting a pair last week beating Penn State but then losing to Iowa for the second time.

5. NORTHWESTERN @NUMensBBall

The Wildcats got two wins they needed to put on the board and took care of business against Minnesota and Nebraska to move to 6-3 in the conference.

6. MICHIGAN STATE @MSU_Basketball

A couple of tough opponents last week for the Spartans ended up with Michigan State splitting things beating Iowa before losing to Purdue.

7. IOWA @IowaHoops

The Hawkeyes started last week bowing to Michigan State before bouncing back to topple Rutgers giving them two wins this season against the Scarlett Knights.

8. MARYLAND @TerrapinHoops

A nice week for the Terps who went 2-0 getting great play from Jahmir Young in particular.

9. PENN STATE @PennStateMBB

After losing to Rutgers to kick off the week Penn State came back to defeat Michigan to remain on the NCAA Tournament bubble.

10. OHIO STATE @OhioStateHoops

Tough sledding in Columbus for the Buckeyes with two road losses against Illinois and Indiana.

11. WISCONSIN @BadgerMBB

A three loss week is not what the Badgers needed as they fight to remain in the picture for a tournament bid.

12. MICHIGAN @umichbball

A 22-point loss to Penn State and a loss to Purdue was the story of a very bad week for the Wolverines.

13. NEBRASKA @HuskerHoops

Northwestern and Maryland beat Nebraska last week who now must try to rebound in the coming days against Illinois and Penn State.

14. MINNESOTA @GopherMBB

The Gophers fell to 1-9 in conference play after a week losing to both Indiana and Northwestern.
