The calendar has turned to February, and as the regular season heads toward the finish line, things are still very much up in the air around the Big Ten. Here’s how the SiriusXM Big Ten Radio team voted for this week’s edition of the Power Rankings:

1. PURDUE @BoilerBall

The Boilermakers’ big men are getting a huge assist with Jaden Ivey’s heroics.

2. MICHIGAN STATE @MSU_Basketball

Tom Izzo’s team has had its share of challenges, but the Spartans are playing at an elite level most nights.

3. WISCONSIN @BadgerMBB

The Badgers are edging out victories against teams they should be better than, but Wisconsin keeps putting those wins on the board.

4. ILLINOIS @IlliniMBB

The return of Kofi Cockburn is great news for the Fighting Illini, who had a nice win on the road against in-state rivals Northwestern.

5. OHIO STATE @OhioStateHoops

The Buckeyes played hard against Purdue as they do most every night but must find consistency down the stretch.

6. INDIANA @IndianaMBB

The Hoosiers rebounded well after getting trounced at home by Michigan.

7. MICHIGAN @umichbball

The Wolverines have gotten better since coming back from a COVID-forced break but the road ahead will be challenging.

8. IOWA @IowaHoops

The Hawkeyes continue to shoot poorly and it is costing Iowa a chance to fatten up the win record.

9. PENN STATE @PennStateMBB

Never an easy out and the Nittany Lions could be the fly in the ointment for a number of teams the rest of the way.

10. MARYLAND @TerrapinHoops

The Terps need everyone in addition to Eric Ayala to put the ball in the basket a whole lot more.

11. MINNESOTA @GopherMBB

Gophers are skidding losing six of their last seven games.

12. RUTGERS @RutgersMBB

This Rutgers team is hard to understand at times, but Steve Pikiell has to find a way for things to come together in a hurry to make the tournament.

13. NORTHWESTERN @NUMensBBall

The Nebraska football team of Big Ten basketball. The Wildcats have lost nine of their ten games by single digits.

14. NEBRASKA @HuskerHoops

A home game against Rutgers appeared to be very winnable for Nebraska. Unfortunately, it wasn’t and the Huskers are still winless in conference play.
