The battle for the top of the Big Ten took another week of twists and turns. Here’s how the SiriusXM Big Ten Radio team voted for this week’s edition of the Power Rankings:

1. PURDUE @BoilerBall

A win over Illinois and a tough loss on the road to Indiana for the Boilermakers last week. They’ll need Jaden Ivey back at full song to stay at the top.

The Spartans roared back from an upset loss to Northwestern to put up a huge win on the road at Wisconsin.

Kofi Cockburn in concussion protocol is a scary development for Illinois, but losing to Maryland was still a disappointment for the Illini.

Johnny David and Brad Davison continue to orchestrate good things on the court for the Badgers.

5. OHIO STATE @OhioStateHoops

The ups and downs in Columbus continue, and the Buckeyes have some road work to do this week.

6. INDIANA @IndianaMBB

The Signature Mike Woodson win over Purdue was followed by an 18-point loss at home to Michigan for the Hoosiers.

7. RUTGERS @RutgersMBB

The Big Ten record is still pretty strong for Rutgers, even with a surprising loss on the road to Minnesota.

8. IOWA @IowaHoops

Cold shooting to the tune of 27.9 percent was Iowa’s downfall in losing at Rutgers.

9. MICHIGAN @umichbball

Things are coming around in Ann Arbor with a couple of blowout wins for the Wolverines against Maryland and Indiana.

The Gophers were a COVID-depleted group against Rutgers but still managed to pull off the upset at home.

Still playing better than their record shows but Northwestern had a chance to put Wisconsin away at home and didn’t.

12. PENN STATE @PennStateMBB

The Nittany Lions have a big road test this week with games at Indiana and Ohio State.

13. MARYLAND @TerrapinHoops

The Terms needed a win and got it against a Kofi Cockburn-less Illinois team.

14. NEBRASKA @HuskerHoops

As if things weren’t challenging enough in Lincoln now the Huskers are facing COVID issues.
