Country icon Shania Twain released her self-titled debut album an unbelievable 30 years ago, and what a career she’s had since. And with an enormous world tour underway to support her latest album, Queen of Me, we’re not seeing any signs of her slowing down! In fact, we’re pretty sure Shania could have another three decades of hits still to come.

To honor the 30-year anniversary of Shania Twain‘s release, let’s take a look at some of the singer’s most iconic songs to date — and relive all the reasons why Shania isn’t just Queen of Me, she’s Queen of Everything.

“Dance With The One That Brought You” (1993)

“Dance With The One That Brought You” was the second single from her 1993 debut studio album, Shania Twain. This soft country song garnered attention with a little help from its Sean Penn-directed music video, which also featured actors Scott Plank and Charles Durning.

Entering at No. 70 on the Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, Shania’s sophomore release debuted four places higher than “What Made You Say That,” her first-ever single. Both songs then peaked at No. 55 — a steady start to her budding career.

Play this nostalgic hit loud and make sure you dance to it with the one who’s gonna love you when all of the others have gone home!

“Any Man Of Mine” (1995)

This song marked Shania’s arrival as a crossover mainstream artist. “Any Man Of Mine” was her first Hot Country Songs No. 1, but it also notably cracked the Billboard Hot 100’s top 40, peaking at No. 31.

In 1996, the hit scooped two GRAMMY nominations for Best Country Song and Best Female Country Vocal Performance, throwing even more of a spotlight on Shania. For describing the kind of man she requires — apparently, a heartbeating, fine-treating, breathtaking, earthquaking kind of man — she also won Single of the Year at the Canadian Country Music Association Awards and the Country Music Radio Awards, both in 1995.

“Forever And For Always” (2002)

This hit of Shania’s is all about everlasting love, with the video spotlighting a lifelong romance. Is there anything sweeter than the idea of finding someone you want to wake up next to for the rest of your life? She definitely knows how to cut right to our emotions!

Nominated for two GRAMMYs and named 2004’s Country Song of the Year at the BMI Songwriter Awards, we’ll be keeping “Forever And For Always” in our hearts forever and for always.

“That Don’t Impress Me Much” (1997)

Name a better look than the iconic leopard-print ensemble from “That Don’t Impress Me Much.” You can’t. It’s impossible. It has matching luggage. Consider us very much impressed!

Formerly one of the most beloved items on the list of things that don’t impress Shania, Brad Pitt sometimes doesn’t make the cut these days — now, it’s Ryan Reynolds who doesn’t impress her much. It’s understandable, really — when you’ve got six studio albums, five GRAMMYs, and that leopard-print outfit, you can get away with having sky-high standards.

“Waking Up Dreaming” (2023)

Featuring dramatic, over-the-top looks worthy of a superstar — those eyelashes! — “Waking Up Dreaming” is one of Twain’s latest hits. It’s a joyful ode to seizing the moment and living life to the fullest, and after watching this video, we’re thinking of carpe diem-ing by outfitting ourselves in sequins and platform boots. The lead single from Queen of Me, this hit is infectiously feel-good and empowering.

Does Shania know we adore her? We sure hope so!

“You’re Still The One” (1997)

Looks like we’ve made it to the penultimate hit on this list — look how far we’ve come! This dreamy, romantic track was Shania’s first top-10 US hit, peaking at No. 2 on the Hot 100 and spending a stellar 42 weeks on the chart. Nominated for four GRAMMYs and winning two — Best Country Song and Best Female Country Vocal Performance — it’s no surprise that “You’re Still The One” has endured so well.

“Man! I Feel Like A Woman” (1997)

There’s no better way to end this list than with one of the most iconic and instantly-recognizable songs ever. That opening riff? Chills! This song always gets us pumped up and feeling confident. Color your hair and do what you dare, because Shania’s got your back.

Let’s honor her incredible career by taking the energy of “Man! I Feel Like A Woman” out into the world and making her proud. Let’s go, girls!

Want even more Shania? She stopped by the SiriusXM studio to open up about body image in the country music industry and how lonely it is at the top, as well as what it’s like to perform “Man! I Feel Like A Woman” these days. Check out Prime Country (Ch. 58) to keep the music going, and congratulations on the 30-year anniversary of Shania Twain, Shania Twain! You’re still the one we love, forever and for always.
