

The story of Setsuko Thurlow starts in Hiroshima, Japan in the 1930s when she witnessed the atomic bomb destroy her city. From there, she moved to Canada to become a full-time activist speaking out against nuclear weapons. The story continues with her through her career from classrooms to the United Nations and receiving the Nobel Peace Prize in 2017. Telling her story is the Pulitzer Prize-winning author, Richard Rhodes.
