Back in May of this year, Rod Stewart stopped by the SiriusXM studios in New York for an exclusive Town Hall to chat about his legendary career, when he spilled never-before-heard details about a possible reunion with legendary rock bands The Jeff Beck Group and The Faces. (Stewart rocked the charts as part of The Jeff Beck Group back in the late ’60s and then went on to make his mark in The Faces shortly after).

During the Town Hall, Stewart was asked who he would love touring with in the future. That’s when he dropped the bombshell — one of his all-time aspirations is to get legendary band, The Faces, back together for another run. Stewart hinted that it would most likely be through his collaboration with The Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood that the reunion would come to pass.

“Ronnie Wood and I were both with The Jeff Beck Group, so all we need is Ian McLagan and Kenney Jones and we could do both bands the same night,” Stewart said. “You have The Jeff Beck group and The Faces all in one bill.”

Despite plans of an album with Jeff Beck being scrapped, Stewart recently confirmed that a Faces reunion is practically in the works. He plans on getting together with Ronnie Wood to ear-mark dates in 2015. Get excited people!
