Renowned music journalist, writer, and author Lisa Robinson is proving that it isn’t only rock ‘n roll when she kicks off her weekly live SiriusXM talk show, Call Me with Lisa Robinson, on February 17 at 7pm on VOLUME (Ch. 106).

Every Wednesday, Robinson, a veteran rock journalist who has interviewed some of the most iconic voices in music including Joni Mitchell, The Rolling Stones, Adele, Led Zeppelin, Tina Turner, David Bowie, Linda Ronstadt, Michael Jackson, Mary J. Blige, Jay-Z, Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, and hundreds of others, will share her experiences as a music insider, diving into the incredible stories of some of her biggest career-defining interviews in pop, rock and roll, and hip-hop. Robinson will talk about some of her most memorable artist interviews spanning her career, and take calls from listeners wanting to know more about what really happened behind the scenes of these legendary conversations.

Robinson’s work in journalism has spanned more than four decades. She was a former music columnist at the New York Times Syndicate, the New York Post, edited numerous rock magazines, and is currently a contributing editor to Vanity Fair. Her books include There Goes Gravity: A Life in Rock and Roll and her latest book, Nobody Ever Asked Me About the Girls: Women, Music and Fame, released in November 2020.
