Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez didn’t get much sleep on Wednesday night, one day before finding out whether or not he’d be enshrined into the National Baseball Hall of Fame later this year.

When he finally received the good news, Pudge says he and his family erupted into celebration.

“It was a dream…I was in shock,” Rodriguez said. “It was a great moment.”

Listen below as the Hall of Famer talked about his experience with Jody McDonald and Mike Stanton on MLB Network Radio.
