In honor of Veterans Day 2020, SiriusXM will be airing a range of shows dedicated to those who have served. On November 11, don’t miss these tribute specials that will make you laugh, think, rock out, and more at the times below.

Comedy

The late, great Bob Hope had a longstanding tradition of dedicating his time to entertaining U.S. troops overseas. In the same vein, SiriusXM Comedy is celebrating Veterans Day with specials featuring the comedy icon who helped shape film, television, and stand-up throughout his nearly 80-year career. Don’t miss Hope’s classic material on Laugh USA (Ch. 98) at 8pm ET, as well as Comedy Greats (Ch. 94) at 3pm and 6pm ET.

Music

To get the adrenaline pumping, Turbo (Ch. 41) is saluting the troops with the go-to hard-rock picks that powered them through their toughest missions. Rock out to 1990s and 2000s jams as chosen by service members themselves all day long starting at 6am ET.

Business

Business Radio (Ch. 132), SiriusXM’s home of business news, financial advice, and more, is honoring Veterans Day with a The Business of Veterans: Boots to Business special. Throughout the show, experts and executives will discuss the common challenges in transitioning from military to civilian life and reentering the workforce, as well as reinforcing the importance of supporting veteran-owned businesses and initiatives to hire vets. Listeners can also hear advice on what makes veterans’ unique skillset and experience an invaluable asset in the workplace. Hear the special On Demand.

Talk

Radio Classics (Ch. 148) is traveling back to the Golden Age of Radio with a tribute to the nostalgic war stories and iconic variety show performances of yesteryear. During the first two-hour special at 2pm ET, the channel will feature Cavalcade of America‘s classic “Walk in the Sun” WWII adventure about an American platoon in Italy, CBS Radio Workshop‘s “Harmonica Solo” WWII combat story between a new recruit and weathered veteran, America At War‘s “This Is War” 1942 program depicting WWII patriotism and dramatizations, and Norman Corwin Presents’ “Fourteen August” VJ Day broadcast hosted by Orson Welles. At 8pm ET, Radio Classics will air Command Performance, Bing Crosby’s VJ Day variety show which was originally broadcast via the Armed Forces Radio Network on August 14, 1945.

Politics

Patriot (Ch. 125), SiriusXM’s home for conservative political talk, is spending the day honoring vets with countless guests throughout its daily shows. On David Webb, Webb aired A. Lawrence Vaincourt’s poem Just a Common Soldier narrated by actor Tony Lo Bianco, before being joined by Navy veteran and Air National Guard member Julia Maki, Concerned Veterans for America Director of Education John Byrnes, and REBOOT Recovery Co-Founder and Executive Director Evan Owens. During the afternoon, The Wilkow Majority hosted Rick Iannucci of Horses for Heroes, Gretch Smith of Code of Vets, Global War on Terrorism Memorial Foundation Ambassador and retired Special Forces Warrant Officer Joe Kent, and Black Rifle Coffee Founder and CEO Evan Hafer. Hear the guests cover everything from veteran suicide prevention and healing service member trauma through faith-based programs anytime On Demand.
