Hip-hop legend Rick Ross’ album release party seems like it was just yesterday, doesn’t it? Since that day, Mastermind has gone number one on the Billboard charts, making it the Bawse’s sixth gold studio album to date.

Now, Ross has paid another visit to Hip-Hop Nation to talk about working with Sean “Diddy” Combs on Mastermind and what’s next for his career.

During their talk, DJ Skee asked Ross if he planned on ending his solo rap career anytime soon, what with all those gold albums under his belt. True to form, the Maybach Music Group founder said he’s going to keep on his music making grind until he hits platinum. Ya undadig?

“I just feel like there’s still sh– I got to do. I’m one of them dudes – once I execute what I got to do, I’m cool,” Ross said. “[I want to] execute that platinum album out the gate. That’s most definitely one of those things you most definitely want to do.”
