Quinnen Williams is considered one of the top defensive linemen in the NFL Draft.

However, there are some critics who believe, at 6-foot-4 and 265 pounds, former Alabama standout is a bit undersized for his position.

‘A really good combination, I think, for what people are looking for’

Nick Saban, the Crimson Tide coach, doesn’t believe that is a valid observation.

“Q is just very, very instinctive. Really good initial quickness.”

“Even though some people would think that he’s a little undersized, he doesn’t play that way and he’s really athletic and a really good pass rusher,” Saban told Bill Lekas and Charlie Weis on The Opening Drive. “So a really good combination, I think, for what people are looking for. Q is just very, very instinctive. Really good initial quickness.

‘He’s got a little bit of explosive power to go with his initial quickness’

“He’s also one of those guys that’s very bright and understands blocking schemes. He’s the guy that’s always calling out who’s pulling. ‘Bird!’ ‘Rabbit!’ He’s got a little bit of explosive power to go with his initial quickness.”
