Hello again, hello. Just called to say … that SiriusXM is launching Neil Diamond Radio! (See what we did there?)

Running from Saturday 10/11 at 12 pm ET through Tuesday 11/11 at 3 am ET, Neil Diamond Radio will feature music from the iconic pop singer’s career, as well as new tracks from his forthcoming album, Melody Road.

Not only will listeners hear the very best of Neil, but Neil himself will sit down for a SiriusXM Town Hall on Tuesday 10/21 at 8 pm ET! Moderated by Cousin Brucie, Neil will answer questions from an intimate audience of SiriusXM subscribers about his life, career and Melody Road, which will be released that day.

Since we’re so jazzed about Neil Diamond Radio, we reached out to ’60s on 6 programmer Lou Simon, who “recognizes that the ’60s is the decade where Neil had his first success.” During our chat, Lou was kind enough to name five of his favorite Neil songs. Here they are below:

1. Cherry, Cherry: “This is the first time people heard Neil’s voice and found it instantly unforgettable.”

2. Sweet Caroline: “Who knew that 45 years later, we’d still be singing this, especially at Red Sox games?”

3. You Don’t Bring Me Flowers: “This was Neil’s duet with Barbra Streisand. If you’ve never seen it, check out their performance of it at the 1980 Grammys. Goosebumps.”

4. America: “A standout song from the soundtrack from the movie The Jazz singer. It’s still a showstopper in Neil’s live concerts.

5. I’m a Believer: While we all love the Monkees’ hit, it’s Neil’s song, and he did a great version of it, too.

Hear Neil Diamond Radio when it airs on the following channels: XM Satellite, channel 13, Sirius Satellite, channel 147 and on SiriusXM Internet Radio, channel 700.
