Nebraska Huskers 2014 camp tour report from SiriusXM College Sports Nation

SiriusXM College Sports Nation’s third annual college football camp tour continued on Monday, Aug. 12th, as Mark Packer and Gene Chizik visited with the Nebraska Huskers.

Nebraska Huskers season preview

Gene Chizik thinks the Huskers are ready to tackle the season.

“They have key players in key positions that I think will allow them to really feel confident going into the season.”

Nebraska takes on a tough Big Ten road schedule playing at Michigan State, Wisconsin and Iowa, but Chizik knows head coach Bo Pelini is confident.

“It’s definitely a tough road to hoe but the West is open,” Chizik said. “They’re going to have to win some tough games on the road to do but they understand what it takes. Ever since Bo [Pelini] has been here they have won at least nine games in a season […] it’s time to win 10 or 11.”
