Thank goodness for food industry marketing because we no longer have to wait until Cinco de Mayo to drink Margaritas on special. But in case weak-well tequila blended with outrageously sweet mixers for $2 isn’t your thing, Jimmy Buffett’s Radio Margaritaville (Ch. 24) has you covered with tried-and-true takes on everyone’s favorite Mexican cocktail to make at home, as well as party-themed programming all day long on Margarita Day (Feb. 22)!


Margaritaville’s “Last Mango Margarita” Recipe

3/4 oz Cointreau Orange Liqueur
1 1/2 oz Last Mango Margaritaville Tequila
2 oz Margaritaville Sweet & Sour Mix
Splash of Cranberry Juice
Shake w/ Ice
Garnish with Fresh Mango Cubes

Montego Bay Margaritaville Key Lime Margarita Recipe

1 oz Coconut Infused Tequila (or Margaritaville Tequila’s Calypso Coconut)
1/2 oz Coco Mania Coconut Rum (or Margaritaville Coconut Rum)
1/2 oz Triple Sec
1 oz Coco Lopez
2 oz Margaritaville Margarita Mix
Rimmed with crushed Graham Cracker
Garnished with a Lime Wheel

Margaritaville “Perfect Margarita” Recipe

1/2 oz Margaritaville Gold Tequila
1/2 oz Margaritaville Silver Tequila
1/2 oz Triple Sec
1/2 oz Orange Curacao Liqueur
1/2 oz Lime Juice
Shake Over Ice
Garnish with 2 Limes Squeezed Into Glass
Rim with Kosher Salt

Moonshine Margarita

1.25 oz Clear Moonshine (We use Ole’ Smokey™ White Lighting)
1 oz Blackberry Moonshine (Again we use Ole’ Smokey™)*
Fill with a lemon/lime margarita mix or Sweet and Sour
Garnish with a lime, and no salt on this one.
*There are several brands of Moonshine (it’s huge here) but I would think any brand would give the same result.

Watermelon Margarita

1.50 oz Margaritaville Silver Tequila
0.75 oz Triple Sec
1.25 oz Finest Call Watermelon
4 oz Margaritaville Sweet and Sour mix
Mix ingredients in tin, shake and pour over ice. Garnish with a lime wheel

Mango Margarita

1 oz Margaritaville® Gold Tequila
.5 oz Triple Sec
4 oz Margaritaville® Mango Margarita Mix
Combine ingredients in a shaker. Shake and pour into a margarita glass with ice.

Uptown Top Shelf Margarita

1.5 oz Margaritaville® Gold Tequila
.25 oz Cointreau®
4 oz Margaritaville® Margarita Mix
.25 oz Float Grand Marnier®
Rim margarita glass with salt.
Combine ingredients in a shaker.
Shake and pour into a margarita glass with ice.
Add float of Grand Marnier®.
