On Monday, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats had the honor of playing a live set (and we had the honor of listening) at The Stax Museum in Memphis for an intimate group of only 100 fans.

“We are honored to be part of such a rich musical history,” the front man told SiriusXM’s Mark Goodman in an interview before the show. “Even Wesley, our trumpet player, was like ‘I gotta go outside for a second, man. I can’t handle being in here.”

Below is the full interview, and tune into The Spectrum (Ch. 28) for replays Thursday 5/5 at 6 pm and 10 pm ET; Friday 5/6 at noon ET and midnight ET; Saturday 5/7 at 2 pm ET and Sunday 5/8 at 4 pm ET and 11 pm ET.
