NASCAR drivers took on a major challenge with an all-new Atlanta Motor Speedway this past weekend. Here’s a look at the Power Rankings the trip to the ATL:

1. Chase Elliott

He started sixth and ended up in the same exact spot after 500 miles at Elliott’s home track in Atlanta. The finish was good enough for the Hendrick Motorsports driver to also take over the top spot in the NASCAR Cup Series point standings.

Driver Rating: 93.0
Point Standings: 1st
Last Week: 7th

2. Ross Chastain

He fell two laps down but drove back to make up that deficit and post a second place finish. It was Chastain’s third straight top-three of the 2022 season as the Trackhouse Racing train continues to motor on.

Driver Rating: 85.0
Point Standings: 10th
Last Week: 6th

3. William Byron

He led eight times for 111 laps on his way to victory number one of the season. Byron led the last ten in Atlanta to notch career Cup win number three in his 149th start.

Driver Rating: 97.3
Point Standings: 4th
Last Week: NR

4. Alex Bowman

Not a terrible day for Bowman who hung around for most of Sunday’s race before posting  top-10 Atlanta finish.

Driver Rating: 86.6
Point Standings: 9th
Last Week: 2nd

5. Kyle Larson

It’s been a bad stretch for the defending series champion who despite winning a few weeks ago has struggled of late. Larson was a victim of an accident in Atlanta and ended up posting a 30th-place finish.

Driver Rating: 87.6
Point Standings: 12th
Last Week: 1st

6. Chase Briscoe

The Phoenix race winner the week before didn’t have a terrible Atlanta day after starting from the pole. He finished 14th but did have significant time at the front of the field on Sunday.

Driver Ratings: 83.9
Point Standings: 3rd
Last Week: 3rd

7. Joey Logano

He was mixing it up near the front pack of the field much of Sunday afternoon. Logano slid back there in the closing laps and ended up with a top-10 finish and a ninth-place Atlanta performance.

Point Standings: 2nd
Last Week: 8th

Point Standings: 11th
Last Week: 4th

Another frustrating day for Reddick who was eliminated after 297 after damage from an accident. After starting fifth, the Richard Childress Racing driver was credited with a 28th place Atlanta finish.
