The Monterey Jazz Festival, the longest continuously-running jazz festival in the world, returns to the Monterey County Fairgrounds in Monterey, CA, September 23–25.

The nonprofit Monterey Jazz Festival (MJF) was co-founded by Jimmy Lyons and Ralph J. Gleason in 1958. Major jazz artists from the past 60 years — from Louis Armstrong and Billie Holiday to artists of today, Diana Krall and Wynton Marsalis — have taken the festival stages. MJF also presents year-round local, regional, national and international educational jazz music programs.
