Mike Dunleavy on Lakers head coaching job: ‘I’d definitely be interested’

Mike Dunleavy Sr. may be busy with his current SiriusXM NBA Radio hosting duties, but would he be interested in the Los Angeles Lakers head coaching job, which is now vacant following Mike D’Antoni resignation on Wednesday?

Dunleavy, who previously coached the Lakers between 1990 and 1992 and has also coached the Bucks, Trail Blazers, and Clippers, commented on the open position, his love for the franchise and how he would return the club to dominance on Thursday’s Off The Dribble with co-host Justin Termine.

If I had an opportunity to interview with them, I’d definitely be interested. I had a great run there when I coached in the 90s. I interviewed the last time the job was open. They’re just a great organization.
