SiriusXM and Pandora today (August 10) announced Gonzy as the latest artist to be amplified in its Artist Accelerator program. Gonzy, who recently released his album DESAHOGO, is the first Latin artist to be selected as part of the coveted program.
SiriusXM and Pandora’s Artist Accelerator program develops and breaks new artists by leveraging the massive combined audience of the company’s flagship premium subscription service, SiriusXM, and its ad-supported streaming service, Pandora.
Producer/vocalist Gonzy is one of the most exciting new Latin artists to emerge out of Miami in recent memory.
As his releases ramped up at the close of 2022 and into 2023, Pandora began to program his tracks on stations like Satélites, our platform for exposing emerging talent. Check out Gonzy Radio on Pandora here now.
This past July, Gonzy was also one of 5 artists to participate in the Pandora El Pulso 5th anniversary hosted takeover alongside Prince Royce, Dalex and others. El Pulso is the #1 Latin editorial station on Pandora, and the early co-sign of Gonzy was the first step in underlining Pandora’s belief in his potential this year.
SiriusXM’s Caliente has become the first national broadcast outlet to add “MAL AMIGA” to regular rotation and has also begun to feature his track “Ojos Cerrados” on its weekly new music show Universo Latino. Additionally, “MAL AMIGA” is programmed on Pandora’s El Pulso and Reggaeton De Hoy stations.
Since the release of DESAHOGO on July 28, Pandora has been the largest source of streams of the album in the US, with audiences across the platform taking notice of Gonzy and reacting positively to his unique musical perspective and refreshing take on Latin urban music.
