This week marks the 35th anniversary of the legendary 1985 benefit responsible for iconic performances from Queen, Elton John, Paul McCartney, and many more, and SiriusXM is celebrating with a look back at the event where musicians around the world came together for a common cause. The special tribute will rock you when it airs at 9am ET and 9pm PT on Monday, July 13 on VOLUME (Ch. 106).

SiriusXM VOLUME’s Live Aid Look Back: 35 Years Later will profile the concert that defined a generation and changed the world. The two-hour special will highlight first-hand accounts from the musicians who were part of the magic, including exclusive, brand-new interviews with Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath, Rob Halford of Judas Priest, Daryl Hall of Hall & Oates, Darryl McDaniels of Run DMC, Michael Des Barres of The Power Station, Elliot Easton of The Cars, and Kevin Cronin of REO Speedwagon. Listeners will also hear throwback interviews with Phil Collins, Rick Springfield, Midge Ure, Alison Moyet, Howard Jones, and more.

The special anniversary event — hosted by VOLUME‘s Mark Goodman, Lori Majewski, Eddie Trunk, Nik Carter, Alan Light, and Lyndsey Parker — is a must-listen for any music fan.
