Backyard BBQ

The kids can join in on the Fourth of July fun with Kids Place Live’s Backyard BBQ special! Kenny Curtis will host a program of silly BBQ-related sketches that will keep the whole family laughing, with some America-themed songs sprinkled into the show each hour. This Fourth of July, celebrate the works of two American composers who were recently featured during the presidential inauguration: Adolphus Hailstork and Peter Boyer. Tune in to Symphony Hall (Ch. 76) to hear composers share a curated program dedicated to some of their most patriotic works. Hosted by music director of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra JoAnn Falletta, the celebration starts on July 4 at 10am ET, with rebroadcasts on July 4 at 7pm ET and July 5 at 2pm ET.
