Kyrie Irving had the “worst play” in Game 3 of the NBA Finals: Adam Schein

The Cleveland Cavaliers find themselves in a 0-3 hole in the NBA Finals, and while Kevin Durant has a whole lot to do with that, one reason why the Cavs lost is clear: Kyrie Irving had the “worst play” of Game 3.

At least, that’s according to Mad Dog Sports Radio host Adam Schein.

“There was no reason to panic. No reason to have a forced step-back three that was rushed,” Schein said on Thursday. “I don’t want to hear anybody say, ‘well, he makes that shot last year.’ He doesn’t! It’s a bad shot.”

Schein is referring to Irving’s puzzling decision to take a fadeaway three-pointer with less than 30 seconds left to play, down by just one point. Schein offered up some advice to Irving, who was finishing at the rim at will all game long.

“Last night he’s hitting contested shots, blowing by Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, anybody they put on him,” he said. “Drive!”
