Keep holiday tradition alive with Cardinal Dolan’s annual Christmas Special on SXM

In keeping with holiday tradition, New York Archbishop Timothy Cardinal Dolan hosted his annual SiriusXM Christmas Special at NYC’s Sheen Center for Thought & Culture on Monday, December 16. To keep spirits up, this two-hour special edition of the Cardinal’s weekly show, Conversation with Cardinal Dolan, is now available On Demand via The Catholic Channel (Ch. 129).

As part of this year’s joyous occasion, Dolan and his co-host, Busted Halo Show‘s Father Dave Dwyer, CSP, were joined by special guests, including Kristin Chenoweth (who recently released her album For The Girls), Emmy Award-winning consumer tech expert Katie Linendoll, the MLB‘s Chief Baseball Officer (not to mention former player, manager, and commentator) Joe Torre, the Radio City Rockettes, and more.

For the musical portion of the event, Chenoweth sang ‘‘Do You Hear What I Hear?” and “When Angels Land” — the latter of which she wrote for The Hallmark Channel‘s A Christmas Love Story — followed by performances from the New York Tenors and St. Stephen of Hungary School Choir. Linendoll came through to tech the halls by sharing her essential holiday gift guide with listeners. Donning a Santa suit, Torre took the role of jolly old Saint Nick seriously as he threw tossed signed baseballs to the crowd, read “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas,” and offered inspiring insight into his charity, Safe At Home.
