The Seattle Seahawks are on a roll.

With four consecutive victories, they now have a 5-2 record and look as if they’re hitting their stride.

‘Coach Carroll preaches that all the time’

And after Sunday’s wild, 41-38 victory against the Houston Texans, the Seahawks believe there is nothing they can’t overcome.

“Oh, yeah, man, especially when we’re here at home,” linebacker K.J. Wright told Zig Fracassi on NFL Rewind. “Here with the Seahawks, we know how to finish. And Coach (Pete) Carroll preaches it all the time. So we’ve just got to get back on the drawing board and get better during the week so we can come out versus the Redskins and get another win.”

‘(Wilson) was on the sideline saying, ‘Got to keep believing, keep believing”

Wright had 14 tackles and cornerback Richard Sherman sealed the win with an interception in the final seconds.

But the Seahawks’ defense knew who the driving force for the victory was: quarterback Russell Wilson, who matched an incredible effort by rookie Texans QB Deshaun Watson by throwing for 452 yards and four touchdowns (Watson threw for 402 yards and four TDs).

‘When they took that long screen for a touchdown, he got a look in his eyes’

“(Wilson) was on the sideline saying, ‘Got to keep believing, keep believing,'” Wright said. “When they took that long screen for a touchdown, he got a look in his eyes and you could tell he was not going to let us down. I love the guy back there at quarterback, great guy to have on this team.

“That kid (Watson) is going to be really special in the NFL. He’s got a cannon for an arm, just a perfect offense for him. He has a lot of weapons around him. But it was just one of those days for us (where) we made the plays when we had to and I’m glad that Sherm was able to seal the game to take us home with the victory.”
