Josh Rosen excited to get in front of NFL teams to ‘show them who I really am’

Josh Rosen thinks he knows the biggest questions he’ll have to answer for NFL teams leading up to the draft.

They’re the same as the ones pretty much everyone else who has been evaluating the former UCLA quarterback has.

”There’s been some people talking about my love for the game’

How much does football truly mean to him? He was, after all, someone who made the rare transition from tennis, which he began playing as a young child, to football, which he began playing at around 12 or 13 years old.

“There’s been some people talking about my love for the game or whatever, whether it’s like main interest,” Rosen told Alex Marvez and Gil Brandt on Late Hits. “And I’m just really excited to get in front of them and show them who I really am. And once they draft me, (I’ll) show (them) exactly how hard I do work.”

‘I’m really looking forward to getting to whatever team I do and working my butt off’

Rosen will have plenty of opportunities between now and April’s NFL Draft to demonstrate the amount of desire he has to play the game professionally. Many of them will come at the league’s Scouting Combine later this month.

“I’m really looking forward to getting to whatever team I do and working my butt off and doing everything I possibly can to help that team succeed,” Rosen said. “Because you don’t have any other distractions. You don’t have school, you don’t have all that stuff. You have an agent and a money manager where you can basically deflect everything that can possibly get into your head. You can deflect all of that to the people on your team and just focus on football. And that’s what I’ve never been able to do before and I’m really excited to put all of my time into that.”
