To win their third game in a row after going 0-4, the Los Angeles Chargers must have made some major adjustments, right?
The defense, especially, must be implementing major adjustments. After all, shutting out the Denver Broncos, as the Chargers did with Sunday’s 21-0 victory, is a rare achievement.
‘I think we’re just sticking with what we know and what we know how to do’
“You know what?” defensive end Joey Bosa told Steve Torre and Bill Lekas on the Sunday Drive. “I don’t think we’re doing that much different. I think we’re just sticking with what we know and what we know how to do, and things are just falling and things are happening since we’ve been practicing at it all year.
“I mean, we knew it was there. We knew we didn’t have to change anything, we just had to execute and I think that’s what we’re doing, finally.”

In beating the Broncos, the Chargers did take advantage of an injury weakened offensive line. That was a factor in quarterback Trevor Siemian being sacked five times for minus-25 yards.
“We knew they had some injuries, so we kind of targeted that,” Bosa said. “We saw what we did to them last game and we needed to fix a lot of things. First thing was stopping the run, and we did that and we were able to get after the quarterback.”
