Adam Gase wasn’t scrambling to make adjustments when his Miami Dolphins players when they entered halftime trailing the Atlanta Falcons, 17-0, last Sunday.

Neither the coach nor the players came into the locker room with any real sense of anger or frustration, either.

‘We continued to stay together’

There was a sense of calm, which was exactly what wide receiver Jarvis Landry expected and knew was needed for the Dolphins to do what they did — rally in the second half for a 20-17 victory.

“No adjustments are made,” Landry told The Sunday Drive. “The whole week, our coach told us it’s going to take all of us and it’s going to take all four quarters. And that’s just something that we continued to do. We continued to stay together and we just knew, once we touched the paint one time (in the second half), the momentum would switch and it did.”

‘Keep attacking, attacking’

The first paint-touching moment came when Kenny Stills caught an 11-yard touchdown pass from Jay Cutler with 6:17 left in the third quarter. The second came when Landry caught a seven-yard TD from Cutler about five minutes later. He would finish the day with a game-high eight receptions for 62 yards.

“We continued to go out with the same plan and keep attacking, attacking, and that’s what we did,” Landry said.
