‘It goes both ways.’ Lance Bass clarifies comment about being ‘touched inappropriately’ during *NSYNC days

As the media whirlwind picks up over comments he made on The Meredith Vieira Show about being “touched inappropriately,” Radio Andy host Lance Bass clarified what happened to him when he was a teen.

“I want to make sure that what I said today was not taken out of context,” Bass said Wednesday, referring to an on-air conversation about Ashley Judd’s allegations of sexual harassment by a studio executive.

“I told the girls it goes both ways. When I was 16, 17 it was someone we worked with that definitely was touching me inappropriately. I even knew it at 16, 17 that this isn’t right. No man should be touching a teenager like this,” Bass explained on his Dirty Pop show.

“He always did the whole thing, ‘If I massage your bicep like this, it’ll look bigger!’ Just basically a reason to touch someone,” he added. “No one from *NSYNC was molested that I know of … there was nothing more than just inappropriate touching.”

“It goes both ways with sexual harassment at the workplace.”
