Is Ronda Rousey set to take over the WWE?

If Ronda Rousey’s pro wrestling debut at WrestleMania 34 this past weekend is any indication, the answer to this article’s headline is a rousing YES.

Rousey, along with tag team partner Kurt Angle, put on arguably the best match of the night. Rousey seemed like a natural, and her storied MMA career and training were evident in how she moved around the ring.

Just listen to former NXT Women’s champion Ember Moon talk about Rousey on Busted Open (SiriusXM RUSH Ch. 93) BEFORE her debut. The respect is apparent:

Heck, she even has legendary manager Paul Heyman singing her praises (at the expense of our host, Dave LaGreca).

Clearly, the sky’s the limit for Rousey. Who knows, maybe she’ll make a bigger imprint on the WWE than MMA.
