Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush broke out in a big way during the Detroit Lions’ Week 1 win, rushing for 90 yards, receiving for 101 yards, and scoring one touchdown.

But should fantasy football owners be looking to trade their first round selections for Bush? Absolutely not, Kyle Elfrink and Ray Flowers said Monday on the SXM Fantasy Drive.

After a caller asked about dealing Buffalo Bills running back CJ Spiller for Bush straight up, Flowers offered warning to both him and other Bush suitors.

“I don’t think there’s one [expert who had Bush ranked ahead of Spiller] unless it’s Joe Schmo, who’s a nine-year-old writing out of his garage in crayons,” Flowers said. “No expert in the world, five days ago, three days ago, would’ve taken Reggie Bush.”

Flowers continued to advise owners to continue to follow preseason rankings, and be mindful of Bush’s lengthy injury history.
